Accommodation and boarding for pupils – accommodation and boarding provided by the youth hostel and school canteen (building A + J, see the map). Total price is 700 CZK (includes accommodation, lunch, dinner, breakfast and lunch). Night supervision of pupils provided! The students fee will be charged on arrival in the auditorium.

Description:

The theme of this unique practical exercise will be to attack the control and management systems of a model power plant. Will the attacker be able to successfully attack the system and gain control over it? Will he succeed in disrupting power generation and endangering the safety of the plant’s surroundings?

The students will be tasked to:

Defend the plant’s infrastructure and control systems from possible cyber attacks. Their main goal will be to detect a cyber attack early and then react correctly to it. The next task will be to eliminate the consequences of the attack. The students will also focus on forensic analysis of the whole event, including the processing of the description of the attack. As part of dealing with the consequences of the attack, the students will have the opportunity to consult the process of the attack with the software manufacturer with whom the company has signed a valid service contract.

Technical equipment:

A fully functional model of the production process managed and controlled by a SCADA system will be used. Configuration of control systems SIEMENS LOGO 8, SIEMENS S7-300 supplemented with I/O modules and HMI together with SCADA PROMOTIC, SIEMENS TIA WINCC and similar.
